Ikhwan Schools (Nursery, Primary, and College sections) was founded on September 20th, 1999, at 43 Oronna Street, Oshodi. The school was established to provide a liberating education for Muslims, integrating modern sciences with traditional Islamic studies.
Over the years, the school has experienced continuous growth and expansion. In 2002, we secured additional storey buildings, including the upper flats of Adeniran Animashau Mosque, to accommodate our growing student body. By 2005, we rented a wing duplex at 24A Seinde Calisto Street, Charity Bus Stop, Oshodi, to further expand our facilities.
In 2007, we acquired the second wing duplex, 24B Seinde Calisto, to house all classes, including the College, which commenced operations that year. By 2008, the College was relocated to the annex building at Oronna.
In 2013, we purchased a storey building at 8 Dele Araoye Street, Mafoluku, for our Nur & Pry school (Mafoluku branch). The College was also relocated to this new building. In response to growing demand for a standard Islamic secondary school, we moved the College to a fully rented building at 110A Aviation Estate in 2015.
During the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, we acquired a second storey building at 10 Dele Araoye Street, adjacent to the Nur/Pry building, for the College section. In 2022, we purchased the narrow path between the Nur/Pry and College buildings to construct an extension storey building for a school hall and additional classrooms.
We thank Allah for His guidance and grace over the past 25 years. Ikhwan Schools (Nur, Pry, and College) stand firmly as approved institutions for educational services. May Allah continue to guide and protect all our affairs. Aamin.”
